Code editor I started to use after Bluefish maintenance seemed to have stopped.

The SaveVersion script can be added to each project in the 'Project Properties' under 'Build' as 'Independent Command' like '<pathtoSaveVersion> %f'.

Underscores not visible

Use another font (Liberation Mono Regular works for me) or change line_height in 'Tools - Configuration Files - filetypes.common'. The issue is described on github[1].
